Why a scientific committee?

To contribute to the cultural development of the sector in Europe via the exchange of best practices and qualified relationships, one of Third Sector Management’s first step was to create the International Scientific Commettee.

 

The committee is composed by a panel of really representative leaders and social searcher engaged with social change and social innovation, interested in an international exchange of good practices on specific Issues concerning social innovation, professionalization, employment and management in the Third Sector all over Europe.

 

Mission of the scientific committee.

Being the European ‘think Tank’ on the focus ‘Third Sector / Social Innovations for Civil Economy/ Employment.

 

  • Developing researches on cases of excellence;

  • Running the ‘Social Innovation Review-Third Sector & Civil Economy’;

  • Creating a web platform on Third sector Social Innovation and Employment;

  • Organizing the annual European Conferences ‘Third Sector, Social Innovation and Employmen’ (first intake in Barcelona on May 2011);

  • Publishing books concerning the Management of the Social Change.

 

The committee is composed by a panel of really representative leaders and social searcher engaged with the social change, interested in an international exchange of good practices on the specific themes of social innovation, professionalization, employment and management in the third sector.

 

The Committee will met at least two times a year in Barcellona and/or London, working on thesis of common interest and preparing International Conference such as ‘Third Sector, Social Innovation and Employment’ (Barcelona, May 2011). The members can be representative of 2’nd or 3’d level organization, brilliant managers, social searchers.
